SAS/Oceania is incorporated as a non-profit organization, whose purpose are to promote, publicize, encourage, and extend the study and collection of philatelic material of those Pacific Ocean lands mainly south of the Tropic of Cancer. The area includes Australia, New Zealand, their dependencies, and all the Islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia (except Hawaii).
